American professional golfer Skip Kendall was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. His pro golf career began in 1987, after he attended the University of Nevada, Las Vegas. Skip has four Tour victories, and he finished as runner-up in PGA TOUR events on four occasions.

In 1994, Skip became the first Tour player to serve as host of “Inside the PGA TOUR.” Kendal also serves as host for the Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin/Skip Kendall Pro-Am for Kids, an event that began in 2000.

Skip is credited with showing the “claw” putting grip to Chris DiMarco in 1995. Kendall putts with a conventional grip.
